The Department of English, Communication, Culture, and Art at Western New England University invites applications to fill an opening for Adjunct Professor of Communication in the Spring 2027 semester.
The department seeks a candidate who can teach at least one in-person section of a junior-level Event Planning course. Courses are scheduled three days per week (MWF) for 50 minutes. The ideal candidate will have at least a Master’s degree in public relations, communication, journalism, or a related subjector at least 10 years’ recent professional experience in the field of communication; prior experience teaching and/or guest-lecturing to undergraduate students; and a demonstrable dedication to student success.
The successful candidate may also be asked to teach additional courses in introductory-level communication classes.

Qualifications
