Lead Business Analyst - Trading Platforms

We are seeking aLead Business Analyst to drive requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and solution delivery within the Trading and Supply domain, leveraging strong supply chain knowledge and Agile methodologies to translate business needs into effective functional solutions.

Responsibilities

• Capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements and translate them into functionality
• Assess risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impact across projects
• Model processes, data flows, and technology to identify current value, issues, and opportunities for improvement
• Create and update clear documentation of requirements to align with the solution throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure traceability of requirements from business needs through testing and scope changes to the final solution
• Interact with software suppliers, designers, and developers to understand software limitations and ensure business requirements are addressed
• Configure and document software and processes using agreed standards and tools
• Define acceptance criteria and validate that solutions meet business needs through coordinated testing
• Develop and present business cases to justify solution value and secure approval, funding, and prioritization
• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control Business Analysis activities within agreed cost, time, and quality parameters
• Lead stakeholder management activities and large design sessions
• Guide teams through business analysis activities on projects

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience in Business Analysis within the Trading and Supply domain
• Background in supply chain knowledge relevant to Trading and Supply operations
• Expertise in requirement gathering, BRD, and FRD documentation
• Proficiency in stakeholder management and leading large design sessions
• Experience working in Agile environments, including Agile project delivery and frameworks/tools
• Skills in educating stakeholders, including Product Owners and business partners, on Agile ways of working
• Understanding of systems engineering concepts, data/process analysis and modeling, and products & solutions
• Competency in risk management and AI solutioning within trading platform contexts

Nice to have

• Agile certifications or trainings
• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA certification
• Lean Practitioner training and experience
