In 2025 alone, we facilitated 10,000+ experiences engaging over 500,000 employees worldwide. With consistent 100% YoY growth and profitability since April 2024, Goodera is backed by leading investors including Elevation Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, Omidyar Network, Zoom Ventures, xto10x, and Ursula Burns.
Goodera enables end-to-end employee engagement programs, with a core focus on corporate volunteering. We help organizations design and deliver meaningful experiences that drive both employee engagement and social impact.
What we do:
End-to-end program management: Design and execute corporate volunteering initiatives from concept to completion
Curated opportunities: Match organizations with the right experiences from our global catalog of volunteering activities
Program planning & participation: Support timelines, campaigns, and communications to drive employee registrations
Hosted experiences: Deliver engaging, high-quality sessions led by trained Goodera hosts who guide, orient, and contextualize each experience
Impact measurement: Track, measure, and communicate both employee engagement and social impact outcomes
As we continue to grow, Goodera is exploring avenues of expanding beyond volunteering into a broader suite of employee engagement offerings including team building, culture-building, and purpose-driven experiences.Â
Role Overview
Every Goodera event starts with an activity: something a group of volunteers (10 to 100+ volunteers) can build, pack, or create in 90 minutes that a nonprofit actually needs. You will invent those activities.
You'll design new volunteering activities and kits in your cause area, refine the ones we already run, and work with nonprofits and subject-matter experts so each one does real good. The best of them become blockbusters delivered thousands of times a year.
Key Responsibilities
Activity & Kit Development
Design new activities (kits, platform enabled, digital) in your cause area, from concept to pilot-ready prototype
Refine existing activities to improve engagement, impact, cost, and ease of delivery
Make activities work across formats where possible: in-office, kiosk, self-led box, and virtual
Impact & Expertise
Work with domain experts through the Nonprofit team, our US-based Subject Matter Expert, and consultants to make sure each activity meets a real need
Validate what beneficiaries receive (age-appropriateness, accessibility, safety, cultural fit)
Write the impact story for each activity: who it helps and how
Partnerships & Sourcing
Build relationships with vendors, makers, and community organisations who can supply materials or co-create activities
Work with Logistics on sourcing, costing, and kit assembly constraints
Pilot to Blockbuster
Move each activity through the Activity Development Pipeline: concept → design → pilot → blockbuster
Run pilots, gather volunteer and nonprofit feedback, and iterate against success criteria
Hand finished activities to Experience Designers and the Category team with complete specs, instructions, and material lists
About you
2-3 years designing games, toys, educational kits, learning experiences, or activity-based products (e.g. PlayShifu-type products, curriculum design, maker kits)
A portfolio of things you designed that people used with their hands or experienced
Understanding of, or genuine interest in, your focus area: social-emotional wellbeing, or STEAM and education
Comfortable with prototyping, materials, vendors, and costing
Collaborative: you take expert input well and turn it into something fun
Curious and fast: you prototype before you perfect
