Accounts Receivable Representative

Accounts Receivable Representative - Phoenix, AZ - Contract - $20-30 Per HR

This position offers a hybrid work environment in a regional healthcare setting. The role involves handling accounts receivable tasks, including billing and collections, with a requirement for proficiency in general accounting principles and experience with electronic health records systems. Candidates will work a regular day shift from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate invoices and manage past-due accounts.
• Reconcile accounts and research unapplied or misapplied payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and identify collection priorities.
• Resolve discrepancies between invoices and payments.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in billing and collections within a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in general accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems and office software like spreadsheets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
