About The Job:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and solutions-driven Shared Services Analyst to join our Accounts Payable (AP) team.
• In this role, you will support end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, ensure timely and accurate vendor invoice processing, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Shared Services.
• This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical capabilities, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for process optimization.

Essential Job Functions:
Accounts Payable Operations

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in compliance with company policies.
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor and resolve invoice discrepancies, including price/quantity variances, missing PO numbers, and matching issues.
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding items.

Customer & Vendor Support

• Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding invoice status, payments, and issue resolution.
• Manage shared inboxes, ensuring timely and professional responses.

Reporting & Analysis

• Support month-end close activities, including AP analysis and reporting.
• Identify trends in recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
• Assist with audit requests by providing documentation and explanations as needed.

Process Improvement & Controls

• Support standardization and optimization of Shared Services processes.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and compliance requirements.
• Participate in system enhancements, testing, and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of Accounts Payable or Shared Services experience.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable best practices and three-way matching processes.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in a Shared Services or centralized finance environment.
• Knowledge of automated Accounts Payable workflows and OCR (Optical Character Recognition) tools.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on process efficiency, continuous improvement, and problem-solving.
