Accounting Manager

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team. The position will serve as Accounting & Tax Manager for Brazil and act as the technical owner for accounting, tax compliance, statutory reporting, audits, tax reform readiness, and local controllership activities. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on execution and will work closely with external providers, auditors, tax advisors, Global SSC teams, and finance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Uphold the accounting structure and internal control environment in line with BR GAAP/CPC, US GAAP, and company policy standards
• Oversee the monthly closing cycle, account reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet review processes
• Provide backing during statutory audits, tax-related audits, and SOX control activities
• Manage coordination across SSC teams, outsourced accounting and tax vendors, auditors, and consulting partners
• Take ownership of Brazilian tax compliance obligations, covering IRPJ, CSLL, ISS, PIS, and COFINS
• Prepare the organization for upcoming Brazilian tax reform changes, including CBS/IBS requirements
• Assist with reconciling statutory results to US GAAP, handling related reporting, driving process enhancements, and supporting integration work

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a closely related discipline
• A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in the field
• At least two years spent in a Senior, Lead, Manager, or Owner-level capacity
• Demonstrated success overseeing engagements involving teams of five or more full-time employees
• Active CRC registration is mandatory
• Background in accounting, controllership, and/or tax work specific to Brazil
• Solid command of BR GAAP/CPC standards paired with working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
• Direct, practical experience using SAP
• Fluent English communication abilities at B2 proficiency or above

• Holding a relevant professional certification would be considered an advantage
