Accounting Manager

Position Summary

Our client is seeking anAccounting Manager to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities within a growing organization. This role will oversee key accounting processes, support audit activities, and provide leadership to an established accounting team while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys both managing people and contributing directly to accounting operations. The ideal candidate has strong experience with financial reporting, audit support, and process improvement, along with the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Manufacturing and inventory accounting experience are highly preferred. 

What You'll Do

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Manage audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
• Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Support multi-entity accounting and consolidated financial reporting.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to accounting team members.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accuracy.
• Partner with leadership to analyze financial results and support business objectives.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and special projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
