ABOUT YOU:Â
As the Accounting Manager, you will be accountable for the financial reporting for all Cervélo entities, including CUSA, CCI, and VWD ensuring all company transactions are in accordance with GAAP and international standards.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY JOB LOOK LIKE:
Prepare internal and external financial reports
- Maintain knowledge of daily activities for Accounting, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting and Treasury
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals and variances
- Create financial reports to identify and explain variances (sales and margin, opex, balance sheet movements, fte)
- Generate and distribute management reports on monthly and ad hoc basis
- Overview and analysis of cash accounts, accruals, account payables, account receivables, and various reconciliations
- Assist various departments in accounting issues and queries
- Assist in tax preparation and filing activities (including sales and use tax)
- Assess current accounting practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
- Â Assist in the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability and accuracy
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
- Manage/responsible for the monthly closing process, including reconciliations and analysis of related accounts. Prepares journal entries, and takes corrective actions to ensure appropriate accounting and company’s control procedures.
- Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls
- Coordinate, develop and update written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting
- Research and resolve accounting issues including evaluation and implementation of new accounting pronouncements to ensure US GAAP and Dutch GAAP compliance
- Prepare, review and distribute monthly management reporting to provide awareness to department managers about their spending
- Prepare and coordinate weekly cash flow forecast
- Assist in new or changes of business operations, using proper accounting treatment including setup in an ERP systemÂ
- Manages and reviews monthly departmental spending reports
- Manages all aspects of inventory accounting and reporting
- Ensures compliance requirements are followed for all accounting activities

Maintain bank accounts
- Complete daily monitoring of bank accounts and sweep out deposits
- Manage correspondence between the Pon Bicycle Holding and Cervélo
Â
Prepare and manage audits
- Liaise with external auditors
- Create all audited working papers
- Ensure appropriate preparation occurs to prepare for audits
- Coordinate the company’s annual audit with the independent auditors
- Auditing internal controls on efficiency and effectiveness and coordination review external accountant.

Budget, LE process
- Assist in preparation of the annual (strategic) budget process
- Assist in preparation of the bi-annual LE process
- Review issues with management team as required
Â
Develop and motivate a high performance accounting team
- Determine resource needs of the accounting team (including payables) to meet the business strategy
- Conduct recruitment process to attract the right people into the right roles
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorshipÂ
- Set clear goals with the team and track progress
- Establish a team environment that is based on high trust and performance
- Conduct department meetings
- Complete ad hoc tasks as required

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Professional accreditation such as CPA (or CA)
- Financial accounting terminology and analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- ERP Knowledge-SAP is preferred
- Government initiatives as they relate to small business
- Great attention to details and the ability to communicate effectively with other departments
- Experience with coaching, supervising and managing a team
- The ability to make effective decisions, work with minimal supervision, and the acumen to take ownership of tasks and drive projects forwardÂ
- High level of organization, time management, problem solving and data analysis skills

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend and explain documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, in English.

HOURLY/SALARY PAY RANGE: This compensation package will be dependent on experience, qualifications, industry experience and the interview with a potential range of up $150K.
