Accounting Intern

Role Summary
The Accounting Intern will join CVUnlocked for asix-month internship, supporting our finance and operations team in managing daily accounting tasks, tracking client payments, reconciling records, and preparing financial reports. This opportunity is designed forstudents or fresh graduates who want to gain hands-on experience in business accounting and subscription-based financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile client payments, invoices, and subscription renewals.

• Assist in preparing financial reports (income, expenses, and cash flow).

• Track overdue accounts and support follow-up for collections.

• Maintain orderly financial filing systems using Zoho Books and Zoho Sheet.

• Support monthly reconciliations between Stripe/Paystack and internal records.

• Assist with preparing compliance documentation when required.

• Provide ad-hoc support to the operations team on finance-related tasks.

Requirements

• Students in their final year or fresh graduates in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with accounting tools (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Excel/Google Sheets).

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work in a team and manage tasks under deadlines.
