Job Title: Accounting Clerk
Location: York Region, ON
Job Type: Temporary
Salary: $22.00-$24.00/hour
Work Model: In Office
Our client inYork Region, ON is actively looking for anAccounting Clerkto join their team.
Position Description:
- Processing accounts payable (vendor invoices and payments)
- Processing accounts receivable (customer invoices and collections)
- Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
- Entering financial data into accounting software
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- Maintaining general ledger records
- Assisting with payroll processing
- Preparing deposits and recording cash receipts
- Generating financial reports and spreadsheets
- Assisting during month-end and year-end closing activities
- Filing and maintaining accounting documentation
- Supporting audits by gathering required financial records
- Cash flow reporting
