JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Accounting Associate (AP/AR & Reconciliation)
Pay Rate: $23.57/hr W2
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Glen Allen, VA
Work Setup: Onsite/Hybrid (as per client requirement)

Job Summary:
The Accounting Associate will perform key accounting functions includingAccounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations. This role involves supporting financial operations, handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • PerformAccounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
  • Conductbank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Research and resolve customer inquiries, issues, and complaints
  • Create, update, and maintain spreadsheets for financial tracking and reporting
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and records
  • Support daily accounting operations and reporting needs
  • Act as alead resource when required

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience withAP, AR, and bank reconciliations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Excel (spreadsheet creation and editing)
  • Ability to research and resolve financial discrepancies
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
