This contractor will support Wholesale Operations by validating, settling, and confirming energy commodity transactions; resolving pricing, volume, and trade discrepancies; and ensuring accurate data in the risk system. The role also supports invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, monthly close, financial reporting, and coordination with trading counterparties, schedulers, Accounting, Treasury, Risk, FP&A, and Power Marketing.
The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field, along with up to two years of relevant experience. Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and communication skills are required, as is proficiency with spreadsheets and the ability to learn specialized systems, work collaboratively, and manage detailed, time-sensitive processes. Energy industry and financial accounting or financial statement experience are preferred. Microsoft office suite experience will be necessary.
Position will be hybrid with special occasions at the Point Street office location (approximately 1x per quarter)
