Accountant

Job Duties

• Participate in monthly closing, including sales and purchases reports, COGS and inventory reports, AP reports, etc;
• Prepare accounting journals and perform vouchers posting, especially on inventory costing (cost of sales), production overheads and daily payment matters through ERP system;
• Prepare the monthly reporting packages to the Group in Hong Kong;
• Coordinate intercom reconciliation with intra-group companies in Hong Kong;
• Liaise with external parties for local statutory compliance, such as local audits, tax filings and related tax queries;
• Perform ad hoc assignments as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or above
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Solid experience with preparing month-end closing of inventory costing
• Experience with general ledger management, AP/AR and month-end/year-end close process
• Strong in Excel and other Microsoft Suite of applications
• Experience in production, wholesale, FMCG industries on costing is a plus
• Attention to detail, file maintenance, and good time management
• Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
