Account Executive, Business Sales

Pay: $57,420 to $77,700 base salary per year, plus commission
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Location: Concord, CA (hybrid: field sales, office time and some work from home days)
Travel: Occasional, local field sales

About the Role

Sparta Networking is hiring an Account Executive, Business Sales for a leading national wireless and telecommunications provider in Concord, California.

This is a true hunter role for an ambitious, results-driven sales professional who loves building strong customer relationships. You will bring wireless products and services to small businesses (1 to 9 employees), acquire new accounts, and exceed monthly sales targets.

As a Team Account Executive, you will not carry your own territory. Instead, you will work alongside Territory Account Executives to help them prospect, source and close business within their territories. This role is often a stepping stone into a Territory Account Executive position.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, cold call, network and generate leads to win new small business accounts
• Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas
• Partner with Territory Account Executives to source, prospect and close business in their territories
• Analyze customer needs and use solution-based selling to recommend the right products and services
• Present the value of wireless solutions and close deals
• Build lasting relationships with small business owners
• Split time between field sales activities, office time and work from home days per manager guidelines

Requirements

Required

• 1 to 2+ years of B2B sales experience
• Prospecting and cold calling experience
• Outside sales experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not available)

Preferred - Not Required

• Experience selling wireless, telecommunications or technology services
• Experience selling to small businesses
• Track record of exceeding sales quotas
