Visa Information
TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.Position Description
Provides office services by implementing administrative systems and procedures. Monitors administrative projects for faculty and staff in the assigned academic area.Major/Essential Functions
- Coordinates academic program operations, including planning, scheduling, instructional processes, and operational workflows to support effective program delivery.
- Coordinates curriculum management activities, including course development and revisions, curricular approvals, course scheduling, instructional planning, and maintenance of curriculum records.
- Provides operational support to faculty and academic leadership related to instructional activities, course delivery, academic requirements, instructional materials, documentation, onboarding, and communications.
- Coordinates academic assessment and quality improvement activities, including collection and analysis of assessment data, maintenance of assessment records, tracking of action items and outcomes, and support for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinates accreditation and compliance activities, including collection and maintenance of supporting documentation and evidence, preparation of reports and self-study materials, and ongoing accreditation readiness.
- Supports academic governance and committee activities related to curriculum, assessment, educational effectiveness, accreditation, and academic program administration, including meeting coordination, records, action tracking, and follow-up.
- Maintains accurate and accessible academic records and documentation, including instructional records, program records, reports, and other materials required for academic operations, compliance, and institutional reporting.
- Coordinates academic communications and informational resources for faculty, staff, students, and institutional stakeholders, supporting academic programs, curriculum, instructional processes, assessment, accreditation, and student success.
Occasional Duties
- Performs other academic operations, curriculum administration, assessment, accreditation, instructional support, and academic program coordination duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced in organization, analytics, and problem-solving, with exceptional attention to detail and the management of multiple priorities.
- Experience with academic advising principles, degree audits, FERPA regulations, and interpreting and applying applicable policies and procedures.
- Experienced in student information systems and technology platforms, such as: Banner, PeopleSoft, DegreeWorks, Microsoft Office, and/or other related software applications.
- Experience exercising sound judgment and supporting program improvement efforts while fostering student success and engagement.

Pay Statement
