About the Opportunity:
As part of our commitment to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nursing students, we are offering a $5,000 per annum Scholarship, alongside flexible part‑time work that complements your Bachelor of Nursing studies. Opportunity to work as an Assistant in Nursingat any of the following Opal HealthCare locations:Orange Grove Care Community, Bathurst Riverview Care Communityand Dubbo Homestead Care Community.

Eligibility Criteria:
- This scholarship is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who are:
- Currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing Degree
- Able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
- Be part of our team for at least six months (and meet all the program criteria) before applying for the scholarship
- Committed to work at Opal HealthCare for two years after graduation
- Â Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold the right to work in Australia
- A compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others.
- A willingness to learn, listen, and follow direction.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to complete:Pre-employment medical, police check andNDIS Worker Screening Check
