The UK service is CQC registered and rated Good. Booking and compliance administration for UK homecare runs from Cape Town, and we're strengthening that function as the business grows.

The Role

We're looking for a sharp, process-driven Quality Assurance Manager to work alongside our Chairman and give our UK homecare business the oversight it needs to keep growing safely. You'll monitor, week on week, that UK services are being delivered and recorded to standard, build the evidence that proves it, and flag anything that falls short directly to our Registered Managers and the Chairman before it becomes a problem.

This is not a clinical role. No nursing or healthcare qualification is required. What matters is a sharp mind for process and regulation, genuine comfort using AI tools to manage real volume of work, and the confidence to tell senior, experienced people when something isn't right.

What You'll Do

• Run a weekly audit cycle across UK homecare cases, checking records and documentation against what's required
• Build and maintain audit-ready evidence packs the Registered Managers can stand behind at any CQC inspection
• Read and interpret UK regulatory and compliance material and translate it into practical, working checklists
• Use AI tools to manage high volumes of case and compliance documentation efficiently and accurately, as a core part of the job, not an occasional aid
• Report shortcomings clearly to the Registered Managers and the Chairman, and follow through until resolved
• Help refine the processes this role runs on as the business scales

What We Need

• Based in Cape Town, able to work in person alongside the Chairman
• A strong track record in a compliance, quality assurance, audit or governance role, in any sector
• Excellent written English and a demonstrated ability to work from formal regulatory or policy documents unaided
• Real, hands-on fluency with AI tools for managing documentation and reporting at volume
• High attention to detail and comfort working to structured, repeatable processes
• A confident communicator, comfortable holding ground with senior professionals
• Willingness to complete a full background and reference check, given access to UK care records and safeguarding-related data

Desired

• Prior experience in a compliance, quality assurance, governance, audit or regulatory-administration role, in any sector
• Experience working to, or checking work against, a formal external regulator's framework or standard, UK or international
• Experience building or running structured reporting and tracking systems (dashboards, trackers, checklists) at volume
• Comfortable working UK-hours overlap for a live weekly reporting cadence with Registered Managers based in England

Preferred

• Direct exposure to UK social care regulation or CQC domiciliary/complex care standards specifically
• Prior experience in a business-services or shared-services role supporting a regulated UK entity from offshore
• Familiarity with ShiftCare or a comparable care management/client tracking system
• Comfortable with a role that will grow materially in volume and scope as A24 opens UK offices and wins tenders
