Job Brief
We are seeking two (5) reliable and experiencedPoultry Farm Workers to join our operations inBrisbane. This position is specifically for individuals with hands-on experience operating and maintainingBig Dutchman poultry systems. This is an ongoing, 6-month casual contract offering a competitive hourly rate and a steady workflow.
Position Details

Key Responsibilities
System Operation: Operate and monitor automated Big Dutchman poultry systems including feeding, drinking, climate control, and egg collection machinery.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and routine maintenance to keep production systems running efficiently.
Shed Management: Work independently within poultry shed environments, managing conditions despite heat, dust, and operational noise.
Biosecurity & Hygiene: Maintain a strict awareness of farm hygiene protocols, biosecurity standards, and safe work practices to protect livestock health.
Manual Labour: Complete physically demanding manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and repetitive farm duties.
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven, hands-on experience specifically working withBig Dutchman poultry systems.
Basic mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting automated farm machinery.
Strong physical stamina to handle manual labour and uncomfortable environment variables (heat, dust).
Deep understanding of animal welfare, farm biosecurity, and general workplace health and safety.
Must currently reside in the Brisbane area with reliable transport.
