Import-Export Reconciliation Clerk

Job Description:

Anexo 24 (DataStage)

·         Audit IMMEX import and export processes through the validation of import/export entry declarations (pedimentos) integrated within the DataStage.

·         Perform reconciliations between DataStage, ERP records, and customs declarations (pedimentos).

·         Validate inventory discharges against actual material consumption.

·         Analyze and investigate inventory discrepancies.

·         Monitor expired balances and non-returned temporary import materials.

·         Validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure alignment between Annex 24 records and ERP master data.

·         Validate tariff classifications (HS Codes) of materials maintained within the Annex 24 system.

·         Develop monthly and annual foreign trade operational reports and analyses.

·         Prepare monthly and bi-monthly reports

·         Ensure the integrity of Annex 24 and Annex 30 database discharges (backflush transactions).

Anexo 30

·         Manage and monitor VAT and IEPS tax credit balances in compliance with Annex 30 requirements.

·         Perform reconciliations between internal compliance systems and SAT records.

·         Validate tax credit charges and discharges to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

·         Identify and mitigate risks associated with open, overdue, or unreconciled tax credits.

·         Monitor and maintain proper control of VAT/IEPS certifications and associated tax benefits.

·         Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent compliance exposures.

Job Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Economics, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.

·         3 to 5 years of work experience

·         Strong experience in Annex 24/30)

·         Domain in the office package, mainly Excel

·         Mexican Regulatory Trade Compliance (SAT, Customs and Ministry of Economy).

·         Good problem-solving and auditing skills.

·         Knowledge of Foreign Trade Programs: IMMEX, OEA, and VAT Certification systems (Annex 24 and 30, respectively).

·         Analytical and focused on results.
