Sr. Data / Data Solutions Architect - Databricks

We are hiring aSenior Data / Data Solutions Architect - Databricks to define modern, secure architectures for enterprise data and AI initiatives. You will lead solution design across the cloud and Databricks Lakehouse, steer migrations and modernization, and partner with engineering and DevOps to meet performance and governance goals.

Responsibilities

• Convert business requirements into complete data solution architectures
• Architect solutions using Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lakehouse, Lambda, and Kappa architecture patterns
• Own architecture design leadership, feasibility evaluations, and solution review processes
• Create and support cloud data platforms and data modernization initiatives
• Execute migration and transformation work involving Azure Databricks and Databricks Lakehouse
• Coach and align data engineering, analytics, cloud, and DevOps teams
• Validate that solutions satisfy scalability, performance, security, governance, and cost requirements

Requirements

• Broad IT experience (12-22 years) with a strong focus on data architecture, solution architecture, or data engineering leadership
• Demonstrated experience designing production-grade data architectures from concept through delivery
• Practical expertise with Azure, AWS, or GCP environments
• Advanced understanding of Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake
• High proficiency in SQL and contemporary data platforms
• Working knowledge of batch and streaming processing, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data governance practices
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities with excellent problem-solving skills

Nice to have

• Programming proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
• Exposure to Informatica MDM, Celonis, or Azure Data Factory
• Experience with cloud migration or delivery of data and AI platforms
