Sr. Data / Data Solutions Architect - Databricks

We are looking for aSenior Data Solutions Architect, Databricks to lead the design of scalable, governed data solutions supporting enterprise analytics and AI work. You will architect lakehouse and warehouse patterns, guide cloud modernization and Azure Databricks migrations, and ensure teams deliver secure, cost-effective platforms.

Responsibilities

• Map business requirements to end-to-end data solution architectures
• Develop solutions using Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lakehouse, Lambda, and Kappa architecture patterns
• Direct architecture design efforts, technical feasibility assessments, and solution reviews
• Design and maintain cloud data platforms and data modernization initiatives
• Lead migration and transformation initiatives involving Azure Databricks and Databricks Lakehouse
• Coordinate and mentor data engineering, analytics, cloud, and DevOps teams
• Ensure architectures meet scalability, performance, security, governance, and cost requirements

Requirements

• Senior-level IT experience (12-22 years) including leadership in data architecture, solution architecture, or data engineering
• Strong track record of creating production-ready data architectures with scalability and security in mind
• Hands-on exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP for cloud-based data solutions
• Expert-level knowledge of Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with modern data platforms
• Thorough understanding of batch and streaming approaches, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data governance
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills with a problem-solving mindset

Nice to have

• Hands-on ability with Python, Java, or Scala
• Knowledge of Informatica MDM, Celonis, or Azure Data Factory
• Prior work in cloud migration or data and AI platform programs
