The expected salary for this position:

9 600 - 16 000 PLN - Engineer III
13 000 - 22 000 PLN - Engineer IV

Our focus is onderivative products across multiple asset classes (equities, commodities, interest rates). You will contribute to platforms that automate the full trading lifecycle - fromclient quote requests to pricing, booking, and risk management - in highly dynamic, real-time environments.

Your responsibilities:

• Design and developrobust backend services and expose them via modern REST APIs,
• Continuously improvearchitecture, scalability, and infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines,
• Enhanceperformance, reliability, and system resilience in production environments,
• Collaborate closely withbusiness experts, traders, and quants to deliver complex features,
• Apply and promotehigh-quality engineering practices, including automated testing,
• Proactivelyidentify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, ensuring long-term stability.

We are looking for you, if you have:

• MSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience,
• 5+ years of experience building and maintainingproduction-grade software,
• Strong foundations inalgorithms, data structures, design patterns, and concurrency,
• Knowledge ofequity derivatives or trading concepts,
• Experience infinancial markets or fintech environments,
• Proven ability to buildmodular, testable, and maintainable systems,
• Hands-on expertise inJava, Spring Boot, Git, and SQL,
• Strong analytical thinking and aproblem-solving mindset,
• Good command ofEnglish (written and spoken),
• readiness to travel to Belgium.

You'll get extra points for:

• Familiarity withmarket data providers and APIs (e.g., LSEG / RFA, Bloomberg B-Pipe).

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III" or "Engineer IV".
