Position Overview

PsyPhyCare is seeking a qualifiedPhysician for a part-time opportunity in Marion, Illinois. The selected provider will deliver on-site medical services to an adult population within acorrectional healthcare setting.

This opportunity offers a consistent part-time schedule of approximately20 hours per week across two weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide general medical care to an adult patient population
• Conduct physical examinations and medical assessments
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Order appropriate diagnostic testing
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Make referrals to specialists when appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Current and valid license to practice medicine
• Appropriate residency training
• Board certification or eligibility preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills
• Ability to successfully complete required credentialing and background screening

Schedule

Approximately20 hours per week, generally scheduled acrosstwo weekdays.
