Medical Coding & Price Transparency Specialist

Qualifications - External

• Current coding certification required (AHIMA or AAPC – CCS or CPC)

• Associate degree preferred inhealthcare, business, or related field

• 2+ years of medical coding experience preferred

• Experience withmedical billing and reimbursement andhealthcare or clinic environment preferred

• Strong proficiency usingEHR systems (HFH EHR preferred)

• Excellentattention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills with ability to discuss patient financial responsibility

• Proficient in Excel with strong math skills and ability to complete forms and calculations

• Ability to managemultiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and adapt to policy changes

• Team-oriented, collaborative, and able to meetannual competency requirements
