Quality Assurance and Control Engineer / Product Engineer

We are looking for a QA/QC / Product Engineer who’ll own Quality Assurance, Quality Control functions as we roll-out products on time to customer satisfaction. This person ispragmaticfor step-by-step execution to ensure success with the attitude of top-notch service withgreat communicationandsense of urgency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

Responsibilities

• Develop/monitor quality program metrics to evaluate the project’s performance. Analyze said metrics to understand the root cause of any disconcerting trends and then work with the applicable parties to correct those items.
• Contribute to company as a high performing QA/QC or product engineer.
• Develop and/or follow through robust QA/QC processes and standards to enable efficiency and effectiveness along with leading effective cross-functional communications.
• Oversee IQC, In-process, and OQC inspections (product & material), including report setup, data collection, review, and improvement
• Establish the process for production document review and approval procedures
• Review and collect customer complaint case studies, analyze and improve production procedures.
• Troubleshoot production quality issues and customer quality complaints
• Assist with Root Cause and Corrective Action development as needed to support Quality, Customer, and Production Teams
• Create Internal and External CAR when quality is at risk.
• Develop/drive specific QA/QC dashboards, tracking matrices, and quarterly QA/QC “Deep Dive” presentations following Mass Production

• FLUENT in English and Mandarin (no exceptions)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical or Industrial)
• Minimum of 5 yrs. experience in Consumer Electronics and/or Medical Device manufacturing Industry combination of production and QA/QC engineer
• NPI and project management in ISO 9000/1 environment
• Experience adapting to a fast paced, hands-on, start-up work environment
• Experience and proficient with:
  • EVT, DVT, PVT, MP and EoL stages of product cycle
  • CAD tools
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • Data Analysis
  • Risk Analysis
  • Process Validations

• Good to haves:
  • Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Medical Device manufacturing and/or ISO 13485 experience
  • Experienced in delivering QBRs
