Pay Details

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,400-$1,800
• $19.25 per hour
• $18.71 per stop
• No short-haul pay
• No bonus offered

Job Details

• Home daily
• 5-day workweek
• Intermodal container freight secured on chassis
• Routes throughout theLos Angeles and Inland Empire areas
• Operations include ramps in Long Beach, Los Angeles, Commerce, City of Industry, and Bloomington
• Some freight runs north through the Grapevine toShafter/Lebec
• Mix ofpreload and live freight
• Auto-dispatch operation; drivers do not select their routes
• No-touch freight with no driver-assist loads
• Mandatory coverage of northbound deliveries and pickups
• Drivers typically operate their full 11-hour driving window and may occasionally use their full 14-hour clock depending on freight volume
• Extra workdays are optional
• Major holiday work may be voluntary depending on the yearly schedule

Job Requirements

• ValidClass A CDL
• Minimum3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience
• First Seat / Experienced Driver
• Clean driving record
• DOT Medical Card
• No SAP Drivers
• Must be comfortable working day or night shifts
• Must be willing to operate on an auto-dispatch account
• Must be able to safely operate intermodal containers and chassis
• Must be flexible with route assignments and freight demands
