Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Tester with 6-8 years of experience in software testing and Playwright automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright and possess strong knowledge of functional, regression, and API testing within Agile development environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create comprehensive test scenarios.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA team members throughout the SDLC.
• Execute API testing and validate backend services.
• Report, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Maintain test artifacts, execution results, and traceability in tools such as JIRA and Octane.
• Support CI/CD integration and continuous testing initiatives.
• Provide testing status updates, identify risks, and recommend mitigation plans.

Required Skills

Automation Testing

• 6-8 years of QA automation testing experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright Automation.
• Strong experience in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience implementing Page Object Model (POM) and data-driven frameworks.
• Experience with cross-browser and end-to-end automation testing.

Functional Testing

• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
• Experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, System, and Integration Testing.
• Ability to create and execute detailed test cases and test plans.

API & Database Testing

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs.
• Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for backend data validation.

Preferred Skills
