5-Axis Laser Operator/Programmer

Position: 5-Axis Laser Operator/Programmer – Chesterfield, MI

Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced 5-Axis Laser Operator/Programmer for our client in Chesterfield, MI. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NTC 5-axis laser equipment and a strong background in CNC programming and operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and program NTC 5-axis laser equipment ( minimum 5 years' recent experience required)

• Program directly at the machine and make necessary adjustments

• Maintain and update CNC programs

• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions to ensure precise production

• Safely lift up to 30 lbs without assistance

• Work overtime and weekends as required to meet production needs

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' recent experience operating NTC 5-axis laser equipment as a primary responsibility

• Strong CNC programming and machine operation skills

• Ability to follow directions accurately and work in a fast-paced environment

Shift & Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 6:00 am–4:30 pm (10-hour shift) or 6:00 am–2:30 pm (8-hour shift)

• Saturday: 6:00 am–12:00 pm as needed

Compensation:

• $23.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience
