Dive into the interesting world of animal hospital! We are looking for a veterinarian to join our emergency team. We are looking for a veterinarian for a full-time, permanent position. We are also open to discussing shorter-term employment arrangements if preferred.

Northern Finland Veterinary Hospital is a modern, fully equipped 24/7 small animal hospital in Oulu, Finland. We serve patients throughout Northern Finland and receive referral cases from across the country.

We offer comprehensive services from preventive health care to first aid, demanding surgeries and rehabilitation. Our services include internal medicine, dermatology, soft tissue surgeries, endoscopic surgeries, emergency and critical care, dental care, ultrasound examinations, laboratory services, radiography and CT imaging among others.

What we expect from You

Degree in veterinary medicine and interest in further training and development in the field. Previous experience in emergency veterinary medicine and proficiency in common emergency surgical procedures are considered an advantage. We are looking for someone who has a positive, team-oriented approach to work, possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment. We also hope you can remain calm and effective under pressure and sometimes manage rapidly changing situations. This role requires authorization to practice veterinary medicine in Finland.
