This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager andis responsible forproviding quality patient care thorough medication dispensing and professional services, under the supervision of a pharmacist. Ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet patient’s needs, and counsel withappropriate documentation to all patients. Provide friendly,positive, and pro-active interaction with all internal and external customers as well create awareness and educate customers through public relations. 

 
Whatyou'll do (under supervision) 

• Support all aspects of Pharmacy Operations including, but not limited to: 

• Greeting Customers 

• Prescription Order Entry 

• Prescription Filling 

• Non-Sterile Compounding whererequired 

• Cash Register Duties 

• Book Customer Appointments for Professional Services 

• Providetimely and positive resolution to patient’s needs and Doctor’s requests/issues 

• Ensure medication and over the counter supplements inventory levels is adequate to meet patients’ needs (order medications and other supplies from wholesalers, receive medication wholesale orders, process medication returns and recalls) 

• Adhere to Loblaw pharmacy’s standards of practice in drug distribution to ensure safe,accurate, andappropriate dispensing of medications  

 
Whatyou’ll need: 

• Bachelor of Science, Pharmacydegree(in progress,4th year or equivalent)with no cautions or findings limiting ability to practice Pharmacy 

• Superior customer relations skills anda strong sense of professionalism 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Strong problem-solving skills including the experience formulating and executing action plans 

• Strong personal computing skills (MS Office Suite), as well as knowledge ofHealthWatch Pharmacy Computer system a definite asset
