We are seeking an experiencedSenior GCP & Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient cloud infrastructure acrossGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise inmulti-cloud architecture, DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, cloud networking, observability, and cloud security. You will work closely with development, QA, security, architecture, and operations teams to streamline software delivery, automate infrastructure management, and improve platform reliability across GCP and OCI environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure acrossGCP and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Design and support multi-cloud architectures, connectivity, and workloads spanning GCP and OCI.
• Implement reusableInfrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and automated provisioning using Terraform.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such asGoogle Cloud Build, OCI DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and Argo CD.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications usingGoogle Kubernetes Engine (GKE) andOracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, configuration management, monitoring, patching, and operational tasks.
• Implement and manage cloud networking, includingVPC/VCN, subnets, routing, load balancers, DNS, VPNs, firewalls/security lists, NAT gateways, and private connectivity.
• Implement IAM, identity federation, service accounts, OCI dynamic groups, policies, and least-privilege access controls.
• Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability usingGoogle Cloud Operations Suite, OCI Monitoring, OCI Logging, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Optimize cloud resources across GCP and OCI for performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Design and support backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity strategies across cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues and participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment, release management, and platform engineering processes.
• Implement and enforceDevSecOps, vulnerability management, secrets management, policy enforcement, and compliance standards.
• Support container and artifact security, vulnerability scanning, and secure software supply-chain practices.
• Maintain technical documentation, cloud architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps, automation, security, and cloud engineering best practices across teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–10+ years of overall IT/DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience.
• 4–6+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, with strong practical experience in at least one platform and demonstrated experience working with the other.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, or operatingmulti-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong experience withKubernetes, particularly GKE and/or OKE, and Docker.
• Extensive hands-on experience withTerraform, including reusable modules, state management, and automated infrastructure deployment.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong cloud and networking fundamentals, includingTCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing, VPNs, VPC/VCN, firewalls, and private connectivity.
• Experience implementing cloud IAM, secrets management, encryption, network security, and other cloud security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, incident management, and production troubleshooting.
• Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity principles.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps and automated security controls is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with application development, security, architecture, QA, and infrastructure teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent GCP certification.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional, DevOps Professional, or equivalent OCI certification.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
• HashiCorp Terraform certification.
• Experience migrating workloads between on-premises environments, GCP, and OCI.
• Experience designingGCP-to-OCI connectivity and multi-cloud architectures.
• Experience with GitOps, platform engineering, and Kubernetes-based deployment patterns.
• Experience operating enterprise-scale, highly available production environments.
