Essential Job Responsibilities:Â
-  Regularly interacts with control room, field operations leadership and field personnel to analyze operational problems, develop alternatives and recommend optimal solutions.Â
- Seeks and identifies opportunities to optimize systems, save costs and improve our operations and maximize operating performance & value.Â
- Provides initial design engineering, scope development, schedule and cost estimates for maintenance expense and/or capital jobs as well as growth capital projects.Â
- Coordinates and manages third party engineering designs for projects.Â
- Coordinates with project engineers and/or construction crews to ensure execution on desired scope of work.Â
- Works closely with the project manager or assumes the role of Project Manager for individual projects or programs as needed.Â
- Participates or leads PHAs for processing facilities and is responsible for resolving or identifying projects to address identified issues.Â
- Performs hydraulic simulations of pressures and flow rates through pipelines transporting oil, NGLs or natural gas.Â
- Works in coordination with the commercial team in new growth project development, providing iterations and various options for initial feasibility designs & cost estimatesÂ
- Performs due diligence work on midstream assets proposed to be acquired by Harvest, including participating in data rooms, conducting field reviews and observationsÂ
- Meet with various local, state and federal agencies regarding assigned projects as neededÂ
- Present information at our field monthly update meetings on overall company performance and trendsÂ
- Assist in incident response efforts if requiredÂ

Qualifications:Â
- 5 years’ minimum oil and gas engineering experience.  Â
- Broad-based engineering and operational knowledge with the ability to understand, lead efforts in or provide internal support for civil, electrical, mechanical and process control issues or designs.Â
- Familiar with PSM and process hazard analysis process and able to perform PHA’s for process facilities.Â
- Familiar with process simulation (Promax or equivalent) and hydraulic modeling software.Â
- Ability to generate heat & material balances for both existing and new process designsÂ
- Ability to trouble-shoot operational issues at a crude oil Terminal, NGL Terminal and Olefins Terminal.Â
- Ability to perform detailed hydraulic modeling for both gas and liquids without use of canned computer software.Â
- Ability to support operations team to maximize value generated from each asset.Â
- Ability to size relief valves and control valves for both gas and liquidsÂ
- Ability to maintain a positive, professional and solutions-oriented approach with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.Â
- Ability to communicate effectively and share ideasÂ
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.Â
- Willing to travel 25% of the timeÂ
Education Requirements, Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:Â
- Required: Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from an accredited universityÂ
- Professional Engineers license preferredÂ
