This self-motivated individual will assist with a multitude of earned media monitoring and reporting while getting to experience the day-to-day activities of a fast-paced agency. The best candidates will possess strong analytical skills, writing and proofreading abilities, have a solid understanding of media relations and current events, and have previous relevant internship experience. We seek strategic thinkers who can help tell a story about our client’s earned media results and stay informed on the latest news - all of which contribute to growing clients’ presence. The position also requires an individual with a passion for emerging media and an understanding of social media as it applies to business.Â
Responsibilities:Â
Support the Intelligence teams, including:Â
- Supporting media monitoring and reporting across the businessÂ
- Monitor competitor activityÂ
- Conduct media sentiment analysis Â
- Supporting creation of media listsÂ
- Tracking analytics and providing support for results reportingÂ
- Creating searches and reports within reporting platforms such as Meltwater to track earned media and social conversationÂ
- Compiling industry research and insightsÂ
- Helping transcribe industry events using AI-powered platformsÂ
Qualifications:Â
- Strong research skills and ability to summarize large amounts of data into digestible takeawaysÂ
- Strong writing skillsÂ
- Knowledge and use of AP Style writingÂ
- Understanding of what makes news and current eventsÂ
- Ability to meet deadlines promptly and effectivelyÂ
- Great attention to detail, enthusiasm, organization, multitasking, and desire to be a team playerÂ
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work individuallyÂ
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointÂ
