MicroFocus Enterprise Server engineer - Brussel - Belgum

For one of our customers in the insurance Industry, our client is looking for a MicroFocus Engineer.Micro Focus Enterprise Server Expert on Windows

Context of the mission / Objective(s) of the job

Client is executing a major IT transformation program where business applications hosted on Mainframe will be migrated to a Windows solution stack with Micro Focus products for the development maintenance and execution of the migrated applications.The program is estimated to deliver in 2022.To support this transformation program we are looking for a Micro Focus Enterprise Suite expert (Server & Developer). 

Level of education required:

 Master degree or equivalent by experience.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

•  Delivering and supporting a Microfocus enterprise server environment Senior (5 y - 8 y) 
• Delivering and supporting a Microfocus enterprise server environment under the Windows platform Technical experience required (hard skills related to physical or digital tools)· 
• Expert in Micro Focus Enterprise Server as solution owner Designing, configuring, installing, maintaining and supporting Micro Focus Enterprise Server & Developer solutions· 
• Good knowledge of the Windows server platform· 
• Experience in Micro Focus Enterprise Developer· 
• Mastering of ITIL processes· Familiar with JCL and Cobol developments· 
• Familiar with JCL and Cobol developments
• Familiar with Batch processes Senior (5 y - 8 y) Preferable
• Knowledge of windows scripting (Powershel) 
• Knowledge of the Mainframe environment 
• Development skills in Net / C# (Micro Focus Enterprise Developer for Eclipse

Mission period Expected Start date: Asap

Duration:At least until June 2022 (with a trial period) (Depending on project evolution, extension is possible)

Language requirement:  Dutch, French or English

Localisation: Brussels centre.
