Restaurant General Manager (RGM) - KFC Wellington (Western Cape)

Main Purpose

As aRestaurant General Manager (RGM), you will lead a quick service restaurant to consistent operational excellence by inspiring, developing, and guiding your team to deliver on company standards, policies, and procedures while creating exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

• Champion CHAMPS standards by leading the team to consistently exceed expectations inCleanliness, Hospitality, Accuracy, Maintenance, Product, and Speed of Service.

• Manage restaurant shifts in line with company policies, driving sales growth, efficiency, and profitability.

• Forecast and schedule labour effectively to meet operational and business demands.

• Implement and maintain controls to ensure thesafety and security of employees, customers, property, and company funds.

• Oversee stock management and cost controls to maximise sales and profitability.

Business Performance

• AchieveBusiness Scorecard targets.
• Lead and executelocal store marketing initiatives.
• Monitor performance trends and take proactive corrective action where required.
• People Leadership
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high‑performing team.
• Build an inclusive, positive, and high‑energy work environment.
• Lead with heart, role‑modelling company values and fostering strong engagement and accountability.

What You’ll Need

• 3–5 years’ management experience within Hospitality or the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
• StrongEnglish communication, numeracy, andMS Office skills (Teams, Excel, Word).
• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) is required; a relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
• A genuine passion for product quality, customer service excellence, and pride in theKFC brand.
• Based in theBoland / Western Cape area (advantageous).
