CDL Hydrovac Operator / Laborer
As a CDL Hydrovac Operator / Laborer, you'll run a hydrovac truck to pothole and expose existing utilities ahead of our horizontal directional drilling (HDD) crew, then help get the conduit in the ground that brings fiber to the communities we serve. Vac experience helps, but if you hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and come from construction, landscaping, farm, or utility work, we'll train you on the truck.
The truck is only part of the day. You'll also dig pits and trenches, run a mini excavator around live utilities, backfill, pull cable, and set the underground boxes that house the fiber. You'll haul equipment between sites and handle your own daily inspections and logs. It's physical work outdoors in rain, mud, and summer heat, on a small crew where everyone pitches in. There's real room to grow across Telecon's field operations.
This role fits someone who's safety-minded around underground lines, picks up new methods quickly, and jumps in to help out wherever the crew needs it. If you want to learn how fiber networks get built from the ground up, this crew is ready to show you.
