Business Analyst, Finance Data Governance

12 month fixed term contract

Acts as the liaison between business and IS teams, identifying, defining, shaping, and documenting business processes and requirements for digital solutions.

Skills:    

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Finance, Finance Transformation, Data, or Analytics programmes.
• Strong understanding of finance processes, financial reporting, and finance data management.
• Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and producing business analysis documentation.
• Knowledge of Data Governance principles, ownership models, data stewardship, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience working within regulated environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience supporting organisational change and business adoption initiatives.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholder groups.

Notes:  We are seeking a Finance Data Governance Business Analyst to support a strategic finance data transformation programme. This role will combine business analysis, data governance, stakeholder management, change management, and finance process expertise to improve the way finance data is defined, governed, accessed, and consumed across the organisation.

The successful candidate will work closely with Finance stakeholders, Data Governance teams, and business users to understand current-state data processes, establish governance frameworks, improve data quality, and support the implementation of reporting and analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong Business Analysis experience within Finance functions and exposure to data governance initiatives in highly regulated industries such as Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Financial Services, Healthcare, or other SOX-controlled environments.
