Senior Project Manager / IS Project Controls & Finance Analyst

Job Description -Project Manager II - IS Project Controls/ PM/Finance Analyst 
   
100% Remote supporting PST 
 
 
Milestone is seeking a Financial Project Controls Analyst/PM to estimate IS project costs, create project forecasts (ad-hoc and quarterly) and maintain balance sheets. Create, facilitate and track IS related PO’s and invoices. Learn and follow company’s A/P process. Requires experience working with IS Projects, excellent collaboration and client facing skills, and familiarity with Agile. 
This Consultant will work closely with IS Leaders to provide financial analysis support including Coordinate, teamwork, collaborate work the portfolio managers, create project forecasts, tracking POs, CapEx, OpEx, balance sheets, and reporting (with an understanding of how these reports flow up to P&L) 
Scope of responsibilities include: 
Management of our software renewals and forecasting process, which is fairly complicated due to accounting rules and chargeback processes. This would involve running SAP reports regularly, updating Smartsheet, looking for anomalies (contracts past due with no PO number etc.), updating a spreadsheet budget book forecast based on expected invoice timing. The processes are all built but the right candidate could help streamline and implement additional automation. Assist with cost center accruals for GIS and AWS invoice upload file processing. 
Required skills: 

• Familiarity with SAP reporting and budgeting / accounting rules.  
• Experience with Smartsheet and intermediate / advanced at Excel (i.e., comfort with complicated formulas like index/match, nested ifs, etc.) 
• Able to work independently (with direction / oversight from the Manager) 
• Proactive with good communication skills 

 
Additional responsibilities may include: 
Financial Management: 
o LEs for the program 
o TCM report 
o Invoice monitoring and follow up 
o Monthly meeting with IS leads to review the spend and allocations 
o SOWs review, change orders & PO request 
o Assist with ILM funding 
o Monthly vendor cost report review and verification for Multiple vendors 
o Create/submit Monthly status report in PPS 
o Prepare Financial Monthly dashboard 
 
 
PMO Responsibilities: 
o Weekly meeting with Program/Project Managers/IS leads 
o Weekly review of program dashboard, 
o Review and maintain IPP and PMO vault 
o Help manage/lead the weekly/Bi-weekly program dashboard meetings as and when scheduled.
