Senior Project Manager

Role summary

The Senior Project Manager owns coordination for one or more assigned functional areas and flexes into business analysis execution as the work requires. This is explicitly a hybrid seat. It is not an administrative or status-reporting role, and the individual is expected to contribute directly to the analytical and functional work of the program alongside their coordination responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own day-to-day coordination for one or more assigned functional areas — sequencing, dependency tracking, action management and progress reporting.
• Work directly on analytical and functional tasks alongside the BSA team, including data review, structured queries, spreadsheet and extract analysis, requirements gathering and user acceptance testing support.
• Maintain the risk, issue, dependency, decision and action record for the assigned areas.
• Coordinate scheduling, working sessions and stakeholder touchpoints for the assigned areas.
• Prepare and issue status reporting to the agreed format and cadence.
• Track and follow through on open items raised by Client stakeholders to closure.
• Support onboarding and knowledge transfer for incoming resources within the assigned areas.
• Escalate capacity, quality or sequencing concerns promptly to the Senior Program Manager.

Required experience

• 8 + years of project management or project coordination experience on enterprise programs.
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to work hands-on at task level — this role will be expected to perform business analysis work, not only manage it.
• Practical data-handling capability, including comfort with spreadsheets, extracts and structured queries.
• Experience managing dependencies and actions across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and demonstrated reliability in follow-through.
• Experience working within GxP-regulated environments.

Preferred experience

• Experience on a system transition, data migration or platform implementation program.
• Exposure to a learning management system or enterprise HR platform.
• Experience in a regulated industry.

Ways of working

• Works to the direction and priorities set by the assigned Client workstream lead or program owner.
• Maintains transparent, timely status against assigned activities and escalates blockers early rather than at the point of impact.
• Documents decisions, actions and open items so that context is held in the program record and not solely with the individual.
• Cross-trains across adjacent functional areas to provide coverage redundancy within the Milestone team.

Compliance and environment

• Works entirely within Client's systems, tools and environments. No client data is moved to, stored in or processed on external tooling without Client's express written approval.
• Operates within a GxP-regulated environment and follows Client's data privacy, data integrity, information security and records-retention standards at all times.
• Completes all Client-mandated onboarding, access provisioning and compliance training before commencing project activity.
• Participates in Milestone's structured program induction covering program context, stakeholder map, ways of working and tooling.
