Lead Business Analyst

Role summary

Leads business analysis for AI-enabled platform delivery, owning stakeholder engagement, backlog refinement, user story documentation, acceptance criteria definition, and client demo readiness. The role requires strong pharma / healthcare domain understanding, confidence in managing business and technology stakeholders, and the ability to translate complex AI capabilities into clear, outcome-focused narratives.

Key responsibilities

• Refine the product backlog and document user stories and acceptance criteria
• Manage business, product, technical, and client stakeholders to align requirements, priorities, decisions, and delivery expectations
• Maintain a compliance and audit focus across platform hardening requirements
• Support UAT coordination and product backlog grooming and maintenance
• Run client demos with strong storytelling skills, clearly connecting business context, user journeys, AI capability behavior, value delivered, and next-step decisions
• Document data requirements and source mapping
• Support the data source readiness-assessment matrix
• Produce manufacturing and regulatory domain discovery and process-mapping packages

Required skills & experience

• 8+ years business analysis experience in software delivery
• Skilled in backlog refinement, user-story writing and acceptance-criteria discipline (INVEST or equivalent)
• Experience working on AI, GenAI, RAG, or data-driven product initiatives, with the ability to translate AI concepts into business-friendly requirements and acceptance criteria
• Compliance / audit domain experience a plus
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including facilitation, expectation management, decision tracking, and conflict resolution across business and technology groups
• Business analysis experience, ideally with data or systems-integration projects
• Strong documentation and source-mapping skills
• Pharma, healthcare, manufacturing, and regulatory domain knowledge required, with ability to support domain discovery and process-mapping activities

Preferred qualifications

• Experience writing acceptance criteria for access-control or security-hardening features
• Regulated-industry audit experience
• Prior experience conducting client-facing demos, walkthroughs, or solution presentations using structured storytelling and value-led messaging
• Experience producing advisory/roadmap-style deliverables (not just implementation backlogs)
• Manufacturing or regulatory domain background

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, MBA preferred, or equivalent practical experience; CBAP certification an advantage.
