As aPlanning Operations Intern at JDE Peet's, you will join the Belux Operations team and contribute to the planning and execution of technical services for our B2B coffee machine customers. This internship will provide valuable insights into how we deliver exceptional service to our customers and create remarkable customer experiences.
Your main responsibilities:
- Support the Planning (Dispatching) and Installation team with day-to-day operational tasks (approximately 60% of your time), including:
- Creating service calls in the system based on customer requests
- Coordinating with field technicians regarding their schedules and assignments
- Assisting the logistics team with daily monitoring and follow-up of operational routines
- Supporting cross-functional initiatives to resolve operational issues
- Coordinating the planning and scheduling of installations and project rollouts
- Processing orders from draft to pending status
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives (approximately 40% of your time) by:
- Identifying opportunities for improvement within your function and across operations
- Developing and proposing enhancement recommendations based on operational insights
- Participate in field visits with the technical team to gain firsthand understanding of customer needs and business operations
This is a hands-on, practical internship focused on gaining real work experience rather than conducting research.
- You are an enthusiastic student with a matching educational business background, and preferably a supply chain or operations passionate.
- Your internship is a mandatory aspect of your studies.Â
- You are a team player with strong communication & analytical skills
- You work pro-actively, take ownership of your own projects and deadlines, and are result driven
- You can have basic understanding/ability to speak in either Dutch or French and be fluent in English
- You’re available for at least 5 to 6 months starting from January/February 2027
- Your internship is a mandatory part of your studiesÂ
