Position Overview

Our client is seeking a talented and drivenProject Designer to join our Project Management & Design Department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of design plans for both new construction and renovation projects, specializing inEducational Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E).

The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of spatial creativity, technical CAD/3D modeling skills, and the communication prowess needed to interface directly with clients and our sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Space Planning & Design: Create comprehensive, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs for multiple styles of educational facilities.
  • Presentation & Pitching: Develop and present engaging design concepts and service capabilities to potential clients.
  • Material Selection: Source and select fabrics, finishes, and color palettes that align with specific design concepts and overarching architectural plans.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Act as a key liaison, managing day-to-day correspondence and communication with clients, project stakeholders, and internal sales staff.
  • Technical Design: Utilize specialized industry software to produce high-quality CAD drawings and immersive 3D visuals.
  • 2–4 years of industry experience specific to commercial project design, a bigplus if you have experience working withFurniture. Strong knowledge of interior design and custom furniture solutions is highly preferred.
  • Software & Program Expertise: Proficiency and hands-on experience withAutoCAD,Giza 2020 / CAP, andCET Designer (Configura).
  • Technical Skills: Proven capability in generating precise CAD drawings and detailed 3D models/visuals.
  • Travel Availability: Must be available and willing to travel within a designated regional territory as needed to support projects and client meetings.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for ongoing correspondence and collaboration with clients, project stakeholders, and internal sales staff.
  • Work remotely Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends)
  • Vacation: 10 business days a year
  • Holidays: 5 National Holidays a year
  • Company Holidays: 5 Company Holidays a year (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Zipdev Day)
