Role summary:
The (USA) Associate Merchant supports category management by assisting with supplier negotiations, purchase order administration, and item setup for both stores and online channels. This role collaborates cross-functionally to ensure accurate product content, execute customer communication programs, and support promotional activities. Utilizing data analysis and business insights, the Associate Merchant contributes to forecasting, budgeting, and assortment decisions. The Associate Merchant team plays a vital role in managing supplier relationships, supporting category strategy, and ensuring accurate product assortment across channels. The team collaborates closely with merchants, vendors, and cross-functional partners to drive effective purchasing, pricing, and promotional activities. Utilizing data analysis and business insights, they contribute to forecasting and category performance. The team is committed to maintaining high standards of integrity and operational excellence while supporting customer-focused initiatives. What you'll do:

Support merchants in supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned categories.
Assist in resolving supplier issues and facilitate new supplier setups for stores and online channels.
Own execution of customer communication and education programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ensure accuracy and quality of product page content, adhering to taxonomy and search guidelines.
Analyze category performance data to support budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting.
Develop and implement feature proposals and modular assortment strategies across channels.
Collaborate with planners and analysts to align financial plans and inventory purchases.

What you'll bring:

Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations to support category goals.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, business, and data analysis to inform decisions.
Proficiency in category strategy development and product assortment planning aligned with customer behavior insights.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support supplier issue resolution.
Knowledge of e-commerce management and purchasing processes to optimize item setup and inventory.
Ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting to support financial targets.

The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $156,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
