Diablo Valley Post Acute is seeking adependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team on aFull-Time basis at$18.54 per hour.

The Janitor will help maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents, families, and staff.

Position Details

• Position: Janitor
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Pay Rate:$18.54 per hour
• Location: Diablo Valley Post Acute

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, hallways, offices, and other facility spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common areas.
• Properly handle and dispose of trash and waste.
• Replenish cleaning and sanitation supplies as needed.
• Follow facility infection-control and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to management.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized manner.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred.
• Healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to follow safety and infection-control procedures.
• Ability to safely perform physical tasks associated with cleaning, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Professional and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and staff.
