Software Engineer (Laravel / PHP)

We are urgently looking for a skilledLaravel Expertwith 3+ years of experience to join our engineering team . The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in building robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Laravel and modern PHP practices. You will work closely with cross functional teams to design and deliver high quality backend solutions that power real world digital products.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel, PHP, and related technologies.
• API and Backend Services:  Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services that integrate with databases, third party services, and frontend applications.
• Database Design and Optimization:  Design and optimize relational database schemas, write efficient queries, and manage migrations using MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• System Design and Architecture: Contribute to backend architecture and system design, ensuring scalability, security, and performance of core services.
• Code Quality and Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and well documented code. Implement unit and integration tests, and participate in regular code reviews.
• Performance, Security, and Debugging: Identify and fix performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and production issues using logs, monitoring, and profiling tools.
• Integration and Automation: Integrate with third party APIs, payment gateways, and internal services. Work with queues, caching, and scheduling features in Laravel (Redis, Horizon, queues, cron etc.).
• Collaboration and Delivery: Work closely with Product Managers, Frontend Developers, DevOps, and QA to plan sprints, deliver features on time, and continuously improve the product.

• Candidates who can join immediately or at short notice will be given priority.
• Bachelor degree inComputer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in backend development usingLaraveland modernPHP.
• Strong understanding ofMVC architecture,RESTful API design, and object oriented programming principles.
• Hands-on experience withEloquent ORM,query builder,migrations, anddatabase optimization (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such asLaravel Breeze,Passport,Sanctum, or similar.
• Good understanding ofcaching,queues,job scheduling, and event based development in Laravel.
• Familiarity with frontend integration usingHTML,CSS,JavaScript, and any modern framework such asVue orReactis a plus.
• Experience withGit,CI orCDpipelines,Docker, and cloud platforms such asAWS,Azure, or similar will be considered an advantage.
• Strong grasp of softwaredesign patterns,clean code principles, andagile development practices.
• Excellentproblem solving skills,debugging ability, andcommunication skills.
