Landscape Maintenance Worker $25 per hour

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Mowing, edging and fertilizing lawns.
2. Weeding and mulching landscape beds.
3. Trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs.
4. Removing unwanted, dead or damaged trees.
5. Planting shrubs, flowers and trees.
6. Watering gardens, lawns and landscapes.
7. Monitoring and maintaining plant health.
8. Completes assigned work orders and return all paperwork to Supervisor.
9. Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by the Engineering Supervisor.
10. Must be able to work a full-time schedule during tournaments and other peak business periods.
11. Must be able to work overtime, as business needs require, with or without advance notice.

QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience Required:  Minimum 3 years of experience in lawn maintenance.

Education: High School Diploma and/or equivalent combination of work experience and education.

Other Requirements:  Must be able to speak, read, and understand English. Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments. Must be clean, well-groomed, and have a professional appearance. Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position.

Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary.  Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees and be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.

SCHEDULED HOURS

Commerce Casino operates 24 hours, 7 days a week.  Schedules may vary depending on business needs.
