Labourer

We are looking for a labourer for maintenance and project team to join usfor 3 months and undertake extensive general labouring work which may include clearing sites, water blasting, landscaping, basic construction support, site preparation including clearing debris, levelling ground, and setting up work area.

What you will be doing

• General labour and maintenance tasks as directed.
• Operating and maintaining all tools and machinery as outlined in department SOPs.
• Ensuring a high standard of health, safety and hygiene is maintained.

What you will bring to the role

• Six months experience or more
• A confident and safe driver, you hold a full clean NZ Driver’s license or international equivalent.
• Conversational English language skills required.
• A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional, with excellent communication skills.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to prioritize.
• A strong desire to strive for excellence.

The role and benefits  

• Fulltime permanent position: min 90 hours a fortnight working 7am - 5pm, potentially reducing to 7:30-4:30 over winter. 
• Hourly rate is $25 - $27 depending on experience.
