Warehouse Manager

What You Will Do

As a Warehouse Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient, safe, and accurate movement of materials across the site. You will be responsible for inventory control, goods receipt and dispatch activities, warehouse compliance, and team leadership. Working closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Material Planning, and other key stakeholders, you will drive operational excellence, maintain stock accuracy, and support continuous improvement initiatives to ensure uninterrupted production and customer satisfaction. This is an office-based role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

How You Will Do It

• Lead and coordinate all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, stock control, and dispatch activities.
• Manage and develop warehouse team members, providing coaching, guidance, and performance support.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through effective stock management, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records and ensure all documentation is completed in line with company procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and collaborate with Material Coordinators and Supply Chain teams to support production requirements.
• Drive compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, process issues, and operational challenges.
• Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.
• Produce warehouse performance reports and analyse key operational metrics.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure the timely movement of materials.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
• Support wider operational and business objectives through effective warehouse management practices.

What We Are Looking For

Required

• University degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, OR
• Two-year degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience managing warehouse operations within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes and warehouse best practices.

Beneficial

• Experience using ERP, WMS, or other inventory management systems.
• Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Forklift certification or experience managing MHE operations.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.
