Location: Sunbury-On-Thames (office-based for first 6 months)

What you will do

As a Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering high‑quality fire suppression system designs across regional projects. You will join our Fire Suppression Design Team based inSunbury-On-Thames.
To ensure full training, onboarding, and support, the role will beoffice‑based for the first 6 months. After this period,hybrid working will be available subject to performance and agreement with your Design Manager.

You will also attend occasional UK site visits for surveys, progress reviews, drawing mark-ups, and client design meetings.

How you will do it

• Interpret and develop customer design requirements
• Ensure design schedules support approval, fabrication, and construction deadlines
• Work closely with sales and contract managers on specifications, installation requirements, and bracketing
• Complete Design Risk Assessments
• Maintain regular, clear communication with clients
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover from sales through to completion

What we look for

Required:

• Minimum2 years’ experience with sprinkler/fire suppression systems
• AutoCAD
• Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and IT skills

Preferred:

• Experience with3D Revit
