Head of Reactor Island Delivery Mobilisation

The appointment of aHead of Reactor Island Delivery Mobilisationis a pivotal point in our growth and development - accountable for the Reactor Island portion of the SMR programme. The role reports to the Operations & Supply Chain Director and will lead the integration of multiple workstreams, suppliers and internal functions to ensure the Reactor Island is ready for site assembly and delivery - This will include:

• Ensuring all elements required to build the Reactor Island are available, integrated, aligned and ready when needed. This includes people, processes, equipment, tooling, documentation, suppliers, components and delivery schedules
• Develop and execute the Reactor Island mobilisation strategy ensuring all activities are aligned for successful deployment and assembly
• Establish and lead the Reactor Island Delivery Mobilisation team, including recruitment and development of Senior Managers and Managers
• Manage stakeholder and supplier integration to ensure all programmes, suppliers and delivery activities remain aligned to schedule

We seek an influential and resilient leader whohas a Senior Leadership background in delivering complex, large scale programmesand we will need your application to showcase your experience and knowledge in the following areas:

• Experience coordinating readiness, mobilisation or delivery activities in nuclear new build programmes, major infrastructure projects or complex manufacturing and industrial delivery programmes
• Strong programme and project management capability
• Ability to operate at a highly strategic level while maintaining delivery focus
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

Location & Ways of Working 

This role can bebased from ourDerby, Manchester or Warrington office. Hybrid working is standard, with regular suppliertravel required. Some international travel may also be required depending on supplieractivity.  In return we offer:

• A salary between£85,600 - £113,200 depending on experience
• 20% performance related bonus and a longer term incentive scheme
• A benefits allowance of £8,500 to build a personalised package
